Animal Encounters
Animal Ambassador
My name is Terra and I’m the animal ambassador at FHNP. We have 15 different animal friends at our school including 4 rabbits, 2 leopard geckos, 2 bearded dragons, 2 guinea pigs, a parakeet, a box turtle, and a corn snake.
In addition to caring for these animals at our school I also do “Animal Encounters” where I bring the animals into the classrooms to interact with the children and teach them about them and how we care for them.
Our school pets are quite the celebrities around here! In addition to being our animal ambassador I also assist as a third person for the office as well with Cheep Cheep the parakeet helping me out at my desk throughout the day!
