Miss Lavonne opened FHNP in 2013, after working in Harford County Public Schools for 5 years as a first grade and preschool teacher, and in the Archdiocese of Baltimore as a preschool teacher and director. She has a BS in Early Childhood Education from Towson University, a Masters in Technology for Educators from Johns Hopkins University, and a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Mount St. Mary's University. She is blessed to have the opportunity to touch the lives of children and families in the Forest Hill community.

Hi there, I'm Miss Jess and I am proud to say I have been a teacher here at FHNP since we opened in 2013! I am a Mommy of two incredible kiddos, Arthur and Paige who have both been FHNP kids from the very beginning. You'll find me in the office every morning ready to help in any way I can! I have made the move from teaching two's and three's to stepping into the assistant director position for the preschool side. I am excited to get to work with all of the families in our school family and to take part in helping all of these amazing kiddo's learn and grow.
